Join me in my kitchen in making this DELISH Protein Vanilla Cake! You cannot beat these macros for CAKE…
Ingredients:
CAKE
- 90g vanilla protein powder (OF COURSE l used 1st Phrom’s Level 1)
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 10oz Truvia sweetner
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1 cup applesauce *not sweetened*
- 1/4 cup fat free fairlife milk
- 3 large egg whites
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup blueberries
FROSTING
- 15g Vanilla protein powder
- 1/4 cup fat free fairlife milk
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Directions:
- preheat oven too 350 degrees. Spray a baking sheet or cake pan and set aside.
- Combine dry ingredients using a mixer- protein powder, flour, sweetener, salt, baking soda.
- Add in wet ingredients- greek yogurt, applesauce, milk, egg whites, and vanilla.
- Stir blueberries in to combine.
- Spread mixture onto pan and pop in oven for 15-20 minutes or until edges are golden brown and knife comes out clean!
- While cake is cooking- add all frosting ingredients to mixing bowl and stir to combine.
- Once cake is cooled, drizzle frosting over top of your fluffy cake. Cut into 10 equal servings and enjoy!
